Anamur - Workshops

Physical states, feelings, experiences, social aspects but also architecture: everything is possible.

With the implementation of photographic equipment the themes will be realized as documentation, reportage or photography film. At the beginning the course conductor gives an overview of the history of reportage photography with examples of the last 100 years. Thereafter the participants will be investigating the surroundings of Anamur capturing their impressions in daily photographs. The subjects and their implementation will be discussed individually. The workshop will act as a basis for improving the technique of taking pictures as well a collaborative experience in producing a final exhibition. The process evolving towards the final work will be shared on a daily basis with the inhabitants.

The photography workshop will take place under the professional direction of the photographic artist Thomas Kummerow. At the end, a photo gallery will be presented to the public.

Requirements: the participants should bring their own digital camera, mobil phone or other devices to shoot photos and, if possible, a personal laptop.
