How to Apply
Please fill out the application form, attach your up to date CV and send it to meetingpoint2007@gmail.com no later than July 21st, 2007.
The selected participants will be announced shortly on July 23rd, 2007.
The programme will run between August 6-12, 2007.
Financial Conditions
The participation fee for each workshop is EUR 210. The fee covers lodging (shared room with multiple beds), breakfasts and dinners, site trips, cultural programme, course fee and exhibition materials. The round trip between Istanbul and Gülpinar costs EUR 40 payable on arrival.
Selected applicants are expected to make the payment of EUR 210 by July 26th, 2007. Any cancellations on the part of the participants after this date cannot be refunded. Please note that all bank charges are borne to the payer. If you are unable to make the payment by the set deadline, please contact us.

Practical Information
Course registration and welcome dinner: August 5, 21:00.
A bus will be arranged to take the participants from Istanbul to Gülpınar departing at noon on the 5th and from Gülpınar back to Istanbul arriving no later than the morning of the 13th. Please schedule your arrival at Istanbul as early as possible on August 5th and departure not before August 13th. (The participants would have to make their own arrangements if they wish to extend their stay.) Please inform us in advance about your travel arrangements.
The courses start at 9.30 and end at 18.00. The workshops contain a max of 6 hours of social work in the week, and various excursions related to the subject of the course.
Accommodation
Participants will be staying at the student’s dormitory in a shared room with multiple beds. Each room will have max. 2-3 people. Please note that instead of a shower, the dorm has a Turkish Bath (Hamam).
Breakfasts and Dinners
Breakfast starts at 8.00 and dinner starts at 20.00. All the meals include local products of the region. Meals will be prepared considering vegetarians.
Things to bring
If you are taking special medicines please do not forget to bring them with you. Please bring your own bed sheets and towels, as well as your swimming suits and sun protection lotions.
Insurance
Each participant is responsible for arranging sufficient insurance coverage for the duration of the workshop: accident, liability and health for travel abroad including return transport to your country (evacuation) as well as theft insurance for one’s personal effects. If you suffer from allergic reactions, please inform us in advance.
The organiser is not liable for any costs or damages. For all its offered courses and undertakings, the organiser is not liable for any damage to persons or property caused by sovereign acts of any government, acts of God or nature or by third parties.
Conditions
The organiser reserves the right to make changes in the content of the programme. Should a course be cancelled by the organiser, the participation fees received up to that point will be refunded in full. Additional costs that have already been incurred in connection with travel can unfortunately not be reimbursed.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the course will be cancelled.
